The Objective of this Role
Responsible for sales and business development of assigned geography. Lead role in new business development for solutions and services to the market. Engages the support of sales management, product management, solution architecture and account managers to achieve sales results. Shares financial and managerial oversight, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and risk management. Provides marketing leadership, including competitive analysis, brand management, and key growth relationships with supplier and network partners.
Position Requirements:
- BS in business or engineering (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years demonstrated sales and market leadership of an industrial sales-based business, preferably industrial distribution.
- Strategic thinker with strategic planning experience, including competitive market analysis.
- Ability to develop and deliver targeted presentations.
- Ability to manage across organizational boundaries, in-directly providing leadership and fulfillment support to sales and marketing employees in other business units.
- Developed financial skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial and Managerial Oversight
- Primary responsibility for achieving key results in sales and return on sales to budget in assigned geography.
- Develop and submit annual sales forecast and budget during the annual budget cycle.
- Publish an annual business development and sales plan.
- Integrate and participate in cross functional organizational meetings as necessary to educate others and maintain awareness. Examples include sales meetings and supplier reviews.
- Maintain and develop organizational culture in conjunction with core beliefs, values and reputation in our markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and official bodies.
- Business Development
- Competitive market analysis and target opportunity planning to ensure that our defined and targeted market is growing and that there is enough targeted market to meet sales goals.
- Obtains and documents the voice of the customer as it relates to strategy
- Regularly measures customer satisfaction to defined metrics
- Advise the team on strategic business development and key divisional planning issues that impact operations specific to delivered services.
- Work in conjunction with marketing for needs, advertising, and promotional planning.
- Partner with core vendors in developing new client leads.
- Act as the champion of related new services, working directly with EECO personnel, manufacturers (or their representatives) and customers to establish service goals and market needs.

- Document opportunity progress in TdF for consistent communication
- Executes sales strategy independently or jointly with the assigned account manager as required in the pursuit of business.
- Maintain direct sales responsibility where necessary to develop business.
- Plan, develop, and host sales presentations and related activities, such as educational seminars.
- Act as a subject matter expert in areas of our strategic focus, demonstrating confident technical competence and fluency.
- Participate in E&S training, including certification to increase the level of support and awareness of EECO market solutions.
