PXM1000 Integration to Siemens PLC and HMI

The purpose of this guide is to help technicians and engineers plan and expand their options when it comes to selecting the "Smart" Power Monitoring devices to help monitor their assets within a plant or industrial process. A Smart Power Meter allows you to monitor all your electrical equipment within your industry and can provide proper reaction time in any case of failure. As such we have selected the Eaton PXM1000 Power Meter for its proven capabilities and will integrate the unit directly into a SIEMENS S71200 or S7-1500 PLC via Modbus TCP. Let's begin!
